It’s been quite a while. I’ve said I’ve moved but apparently I haven’t been updating my blogs for quite some time now. I dunno, I haven’t been in the mood to blog about anything as of the past few days or months. Well my mind’s all filled with stuff right now. There’s been much going on I think…but whatever. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s just I don’t like talking about stuff.
Mother nature has released her wrath on our planet just a week ago. Floods all over Metro Manila. People dying, people struggling to survive…everyone was caught off guard. It was indeed a scary experience. Watching your house slowly being engulfed by water and here you are desperately trying to save everything important. Knowing that there’s still some things that you couldn’t reach in time. It wasn’t a good feeling. Nights went by longer and all you can do is sleep and listen to the dead silence. Not being having water to drink and no bathroom to use. It was hell I tell you…but compared to the other folks out there, I’d say I was pretty lucky. Throughout Metro Manila floods reaching past human height. Cars submerged, houses submerged…everything was submerged by flood water. It was devastating. A lot of people were stranded in their work place, in their homes, on the road. A lot of Filipinos lost their lives that day, not being prepared for any of it. Indeed, mother nature…is mad.
